Heidi Olsson is a mum and a teacher. She and her husband lived in England for two years where they got to know people from many different parts of the world, including children living between and across cultures. She continues to work with children from diverse backgrounds: kids with fascinating stories and experiences who are learning to adapt to new situations and see the world in different ways. In her beautifully illustrated children's book, Hannah and the Flying Carpet, Heidi provides a magical way for kids to visit people and places they miss - any time they want. Heidi loves writing, drawing, long walks and enjoying nature.
