I have my work cut out for me getting the bakery ready in time for Elora Station’s busiest season: Christmas. I don’t mind – I’m used to hard work.

What I’m not used to?

Having a flirtatious, grinning orc all up in my business. Literally. The absurdly-named Archibald runs the pub next to my bakery, and he spends more time in my shop than his own.

Sure, he’s attractive in a giant, muscly, boisterous sort of way. He’s also funny and kind and shockingly generous. But I need to focus. A girl’s gotta have priorities.

And those priorities absolutely do not include falling head over heels in love with an alien orc at Christmas.

Overall this was a very cute, light read! I loved the whole idea behind the bakery as well as the pub. I also love how the Christmas theme continues on this book! Between this book and Chimera for Christmas, it definitely puts you in the mood for the season!

I absolutely loved this story and you don't have to wait for Christmas time to read it! The story flowed seamlessly and was well written. This takes place in Elora Station, where Maggie is laser focused on opening her new bakery. Archie is the owner of the pub next door and instantly becomes smitten with her. I loved reading about him trying to woo her and impress her. Maggie inevitably falls for him once she realizes they are meant to be. I hope we get more stories in Elora Station, definitely recommend!
