About the author
Brad Tanner had his heart broken and mended numerous times (twice actually). Now he reflects on the past in his stories.
Brad grew up as a shy and studious person. He never realized he was gay until his late twenties. Perhaps he just kissed the wrong kind of men before that.
Brad doesn't rule out he might be an alien from Venus or a reincarnation of Leonardo. Of course, it must be someone great and gay and ahead of his time.
When he's not at work or writing, Brad loves cuddling up with a good book and a man, not necessarily in that order.
He lives in Oxford, UK.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2017So here we have the much anticipated Lab Romance by Brad Tanner and it did not disappoint in the slightest.
A stand alone romance that is engaging from start to finish and written with Brad’s usual originality and flair.
We have David a scientist, he has his life mapped out and very ordered but underneath it all is quite lonely.
We then have Markos, a bit more of a free spirit you might say but when they meet there does seem to be that spark, that sexual chemistry that is as undeniable as it obvious to those around them.
This is quite a journey that’s not always plain sailing as worries, misunderstandings and plain old foot in mouth syndrome seems to maybe derail this couple quite a bit…but will it work out, can they both ever get on the same page so to speak?
Brad has written this book in the third person, i love that but if you’re unsure i promise it works very well in this book, the story flows seamlessly from one chapter to the next whilst still bringing the detail that we are now used to from this talented author. I ought to mention that this book is very well edited which makes this book very easy to read, with no disruption.
There are some absolutely banging secondary characters that bring that lighthearted feel to the book, again this lightens the whole thing making it feel like a complete experience, and giving you that much needed smile. Each character has its place, none superfluous to the plot, and each one individual.
I enjoyed David and Markos’s story very much and became a champion for them, cheering for them during the happy times and sad and frustrated for them during tougher times ( even to the point of kindle throwing let me tell you!!!)
So take a chance and pick up this book, its a rollercoaster from the start but leaves you very very satisfied by the very end!
Thank you once again Brad.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2018Fun workplace romance with its ups and downs, misunderstandings, douchie exs and helpful friends. David and Markos are meant to be together but take a few tries to get it right
- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2017An amazing work from a much admired author. This book catches the essence of M/M romance, yet you can hardly find another M/M romance so original and exciting. I loved the characters, who were every bit as real as your next door neighbour, yet attractive and desirable like superstars. It’s so easy to fall in love with them, but you will soon realise that you love them more for their weaknesses than their strengths. That makes your relationship with this book very intimate. You don’t just like what you see, you get involved. The book becomes an experience, rather than a casual read. I desperately wanted David and Markos to be together, and I could not believe how David seemed to find ways to ruin everything every time. God only knows how they would manage to patch it up… every time! And I have to warn you that before you get to the happy end, prepare to be heartbroken. Ah, and about the happy end. This is the most heart-warming and beautiful happy end I have ever seen in books. Read this amazing book and watch the power of love working its magic on you.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2017Frances was annoying, pages of science jargon took me out of the story, and the 2 main characters had more mood swings than teenage girls. 1 star for limited typos and 1 star because I finished the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2017Brad Tanner did an amazing job with this story. I had fun with these characters who are both hot and interesting. Who knew that two guys who make research their life's work could have chemistry. from the moment Markos and David laid eyes on each other they felt something but both of them are stubborn and deny what we all feel while reading this. I really liked the character Frances. shes this feisty, nosy woman who truly is the life of the party. She loves David and wants him to see that there's more to life then test tubes and white jackets so she kinda pushes him outside of his comfort zone. This book is perfect if your looking for something with passion, heartache, and two nerdy guys who are actually really cool. I highly recommend this story which will have you rooting for love.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2017Another great book, by a amazing author. I was really excited when the author announced he was going to release this and add the cover, i wanted this badly!
Loved David and Markos' story, although sometimes David made me want to throw my kindle across the room with his actions! Loved the secondary characters aswell, especially Frances. Even though there was some misunderstandings between David and Markos, they got their HEA.
Great read and looking forward to the next book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite sweet
A sweet, engaging ‘romance’; I say that advisedly as there was not enough story to make it a ‘romantic novel.’
It did confuse me that it seemed to have been written in 'English as a foreign language’ which was very distracting.
