Overview

Capture the natural beauty of these whimsical gardens, hand-drawn in the Zentangle® Method by passionate Certified Zentangle instructor Brenda Shaver and her grandchildren, Cecilia and Spencer. Floral Scapes and Tangled Art includes more than 30 illustrations created pen to paper with no touch-ups or digital modifications. This means the lines, curves and circles are imperfect and will add character to your coloring. Suitable for beginners or advanced colorists, Floral Scapes and Tangled Art has something for everyone. The designs are printed single sided on 60lb white paper that is suitable for pencil crayons and some pens. If you wish to use watercolor or mixed media techniques, print the pages onto artist quality paper to ensure beautiful results with no buckling. You can also print extra copies to experiment with different coloring tools. Frame your art for a special place in your home or to give as a unique gift. Just like the Zentangle® Method, Brenda believes each and every one of us is an artist and that, in art, there is no such thing as a mistake.

About the Author

Brenda Shaver: Lifelong arts and crafts entrepreneur who found her true calling as an instructor in the Zentangle® Method in 2012. Brenda wholly embraced Zentangle as the art form for everyone who appreciates beauty in patterns. Students are from every walk of life and many never imagined they could draw and create beautiful art. Brenda and many of her Zentangle students realize the additional benefits of chronic pain management through the focus and creativity that "tangling" brings. Brenda teaches Zentangle as "creativity at its healthiest for mind and body."

Cecilia Lee: A Zentangle prodigy at eight years old, Cecilia drew her first piece of tangled art at the age of four! Cecilia creates her original art in pastels, watercolors and pencil crayons. She contributed three pages of artwork in this book by tangling inside stencil shapes of butterflies, moons, stars and hearts.

Spencer Lee: Two-year-old Spencer is not far behind his cousin Cecilia. He loves to color, especially in the color yellow! Spencer creates his own designs using finger painting. His page in this book was developed by drawing strings in pencil for his proud Grammy to tangle in.

Brenda and her grandchildren Cecilia and Spencer reside in southern Ontario, Canada. Please visit www.brendashaver.com www.facebook.com/brendashaverartist www.facebook.com/tanglingwithbrenda
